Sip, Script + Shop — Modern Calligraphy + Pumpkin Lettering for Beginners
We're partnering with Sip + Script to bring a beautiful modern calligraphy evening to Pine + Pigment — and we're making an afternoon of it! Join us for 1.5 hours of expert-led beginner calligraphy instruction, then stick around to shop the store and add a little extra fun with our exclusive event add-ons.
Emily from Sip + Script will guide you through the basics of calligraphy in a beginner-friendly, no-pressure setting. You'll have access to a paper bar to practice your new skill and leave with a complete beginner calligraphy kit that's yours to keep. Whether you're brand new to lettering or have always wanted to try, this is the perfect introduction.
Make it a full event with our add-ons (add-ons will be paid for at the event):
🎃 Mini Pumpkin Lettering — $5 | Put your new calligraphy skills to work! Write a word or phrase on a mini pumpkin with guidance from the instructor — a perfect little keepsake to take home.
🍷 Wine Flight — $15 | Enjoy a curated flight of wine from Talk of the Table while you letter the night away.
Some things to note…
Due to the nature of our workshops and the time needed to complete each project, we ask that you arrive 5–10 minutes early. We begin on time!
We provide all the materials and tools you'll need — just show up ready to create!
You're welcome to bring snacks and your own beverages.
We recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a little messy, depending on the workshop.
We welcome crafters of all ages! Our daytime workshops have a minimum age requirement of 8 years old, unless otherwise noted in the individual listing. Please note that evening workshops are 18+ unless it is a private event.
You're welcome to bring friends or reserve an entire table for your group at any of our regular workshops. We also offer private workshop experiences — perfect for birthdays, bachelorette parties, team outings, and other special occasions. Get in touch to learn more and check availability.
